Agenda 1st quarter 2020

The start of 2020 continues the momentum of late 2019, with significant activity in terms of meetings for YesMyPatent.

JANUARY

On January 17Magali Touroude-Pereira was invited, as a member of the organizing committee for theEcole de Biologie Industrielle ‘s entrepreneurship competition, of which she is an alumnus, to sit on the jury for EBI’s long-standing tradition of business creation and innovation projects, at the emblematic French business headquarters, the MEDEF.

On January 18Magali Touroude-Pereira, as a lecturer in the SEDEFIS master’s program for intellectual property in the fields of security, defense and strategic intelligence, was invited byIEP Rennes to the Fabrique Défense trade show in Paris. An excellent opportunity to also highlight the implementation of the Ministry of the Interior’s strategy to use Gendarmerie innovations for extra-budgetary purposes. Indeed, since 2019, the Gendarmerie has patented a number of inventions, on its own or in partnership with institutions, resulting, for example, in a partnership with the Institut Curie and KDOG, Gendarmerie Nationale dogs trained to identify breast cancers. These are key innovations for research, which YesMyPatent supports and protects.

FEBRUARY

On February 5the firm is invited to the Salon des Entrepreneurs at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, the trade show dedicated to the creation and acceleration of businesses in France. With 65,000 entrepreneurs expected and over 250 exhibiting partners, as well as conferences and workshops, the Salon des Entrepreneurs has become the must-attend event for French start-ups.

On February 6From 10am to 1pm, Magali Touroude-Pereira, CEO of YesMyPatent, and Sébastien Darras from INPI, will be hosting a workshop at the Maison de l’Entreprise Innovante, in Marne-la-Vallée, on the theme of Protecting innovation, with a focus on international markets.

On February 27the YesMyPatent team will have a stand at Techinnov in Paris, in the start-up village. Recognized as the most efficient event for innovation’s top decision-makers, Techinnov is a success year after year, and the YesMyPatent team has decided to attend. The firm will be presenting its innovative online Industrial Property management solution for everyone.

On February 27 at the other end of France, Jérémy Pottier, a young patent engineer and doctor in immunology at the firm, was invited by 1kubator Bordeaux to lead a workshop on the theme of “Protecting your ideas: how to go about it”, covering topics such as :

– Do you own your start-up’s creations and innovations?

– How can you protect your creations?

– How can you protect your intangible heritage?
