What is Bpifrance?
Bpifrance, or Banque publique d’investissement, is a French public institution created on January1, 2013. It was created from the merger of Oseo and Fonds Stratégiques d’Investissements. It is owned equally by the French government and Caisse des Dépôts.
The BPI helps all types of company, regardless of size or sales: large corporations, mid-sized companies, SMEs and start-ups.
BPIfrance’s field of action is mainly French. However, the BPI can also intervene abroad to support the growth of certain companies.
Bpifrance’s mission is to support companies in their development and growth projects. It is also responsible for promoting innovation and the internationalization of French companies.
