On December 10th and 11th, YesMyPatent was present at the BioFIT trade show in Marseille, France.
BioFit, a first for YesMyPatent
“This was the first time YesMyPatent had a stand at a trade show, and the experience was a success. The arrival of our Business Development Manager, Alexandra Van Ty, enabled us to rethink our marketing actions and take part in this kind of event, which increases our visibility and reminds us that behind YesMyPatent, there’s a structured and dynamic team. We organized an innovative products competition, with the chance to win products that we had patented for our customers, and this little game was a great success, enabling us to showcase both the innovations of the innovative companies we are proud to work with, and our know-how on concrete products.

Magali Touroude on big data at BioFit
BioFIT was also the scene of conferences organized by Eurosanté, to which Magali Touroude-Pereira was invited to discuss big data and its use to help collaboration between industry and institutions. A talk that the CEO of YesMyPatent shared with Frédéric Caillaud, ex-Director of Licensing and Business Development at l’Oréal, where Magali Touroude had also been recruited in 2012 as Patents Manager before opening her firm Touroude & Associates in 2015 and launching the digitalized YesMyPatent service 2 years later.

The two days brought many new contacts to the firm, while strengthening existing links such as with the Eurasanté group and Ai-BioPharma, and enabled us to discover a number of innovative companies such as DIVA Expertise in Toulouse, Neuro-Sys and Crocos Go Digital in the Marseilles region.
A very busy end to the year for YesMyPatent, which ended 2019 on a high note, with a number of exciting projects in the pipeline for 2020, including an overhaul of the website with a V2 offering more products directly from the online platform. To be continued…
